Frequently Asked Questions

How is my age calculated?

Your age in years is calculated by subtracting your birth year from the current year, then adjusting by 1 if your birthday hasn't occurred yet this year (i.e., the current month/day is before your birth month/day).

Why is the total days count approximate?

The total days calculation uses 365.25 days per year to account for leap years on average. For an exact day count, use the Days Between Dates calculator with your birth date and today's date.

Can I calculate someone else's age?
